Atlanta, Georgia. Home of great music, great food, great antiques, and the South’s design capital.
Back in September, I had the pleasure of being part of an interior design business panel for AmericasMart Atlanta with Shayla Copas, Lisa Mende, and Mary Logan Bikoff of Atlanta Magazine’s HOME.
And while the panel was fantastic, getting to know Atlanta was even better. It wasn’t my first time at the rodeo (I had the pleasure of being a part of AmericasMart Fall Design Week in 2017), but this go around, I dug in deeper on the city.
I had the absolute best time exploring, shopping for antiques, and enjoying the culinary scene (calories don’t count while traveling!).
There are so many things to love about Atlanta, but here are my highlights:
Citizen Supply (A must-stop shop to purchase goods from local Atlanta vendors)
Interiors Market (The loveliest, curated antiques warehouse with the sweetest staff)
Ponce City Market (Tons of great shopping—love my new shirt from Boogaloos—and excellent food options. I highly recommend Botiwalla for yummy Indian fare)
Atlanta Beltline (Walk the Belt Line for great people watching and street art, and definitely try the escargot at The Brasserie)
Inman Park neighborhood (After a nice stroll through the area, enjoy Spanish-Mediterranean tapas and a great glass of Shiraz at Barcelona Wine Bar)
I can’t wait to go back and keep exploring this incredible city.
