Every week I showcase items the team is currently obsessing over, aka “Funk favorites.” Right now I’m swooning over these electric, handblown glass pendants from Clara Lux. Their aesthetic conveys upscale art gallery, while their industrial sensibility speaks to a range of interiors. A pleasant medley of shapes and vibrant colors infuse these impressive fixtures with major pizzazz.
The pieces are a first-time collaboration by decor specialists Aimee Betts and Sarah Colson, who pooled their professional knowledge of craft and textiles to create this exciting array of pendant lights. Their debut fixture, the Clara Lux, embodies their carefully thought out, personalized designs, and is sure to wow any room it shines in. Each light is crafted from handblown, heat-resistant glass, giving the piece elegant and statement-making curves. The lights can be bought as a set or individually, and Aimee Betts’ master embroidery (she wove the insulated wire covers!) can be seen in the pendants’ durable and stylish overhead cables.
